The Alpha Sport Pre-Season Cup comes to a head this Saturday.
Eight teams across four pools will play off for pre-season glory at Leyshon Park, Yeronga.
Kicking off the day at 10:30am will be the Pool C grand final between Aspley and Robina. Aspley have been faultless so far, but Robina will be primed for the clash after a gutsy win over Kenmore last week.
At 1:00pm on Oval 1, the Pool B grand final between Mayne and Sandgate will take place.
Mayne have been an imposing figure over the last 28 months, winning every competition they have played in, but Sandgate were able to grind away for a good win last week,
Over on Oval 2 at 2:50pm will be the Pool D grand final. Kedron have showed that their move back into the QAFA (A) competition has been a good one if pre-season form is anything to go by, but this week comes the real test, up against a Southeast Suns team who finished runner up last year.
Last but definitely not least, the Pool A grand final will kick off at 3:30pm on Oval 1.
Labrador will be looking to continue their hot streak by adding another cup to their trophy cabinet, but standing in their way will be Mt Gravatt, who have surprised a few already this year by claiming two big QAFL scalps in as many weeks.
