Nine North Queensland NAB AFL Auskickers will get the chance of a lifetime when they run onto the Gabba at half time of the Brisbane Lions vs. Fremantle AFL match on June 11.
Every year approximately 2,000 Auskickers from Queensland get the opportunity to participate in NAB AFL Auskick at half-time of a Brisbane Lions or Gold Coast SUNS match.
Due to travel constraints, participants from North Queensland traditionally don’t have the opportunity to experience the thrill of the big stage.
With North Queensland Auskickers making up roughly 20% of our state’s Auskick participation, we thought it was time for our northern participants to get their chance to shine.
By telling us in 25 words or less why they are North Queensland’s most passionate NAB AFL Auskickers, nine lucky winners scored return flights, a night’s accommodation and the opportunity to participate in the North Queensland NAB AFL Auskick Team of the Year vs. Brisbane Auskick half-time match.
