2010 NAB AFL Draft on the Gold Coast
The 2010 NAB AFL Draft will be held on the Gold Coast on Thursday 18th November. We look forward to involving the local AFL community in this special event – the second biggest annual event on the AFL calendar!
If you have already registered, you should have received your confirmation email with all the details.
It started here for many talented Queensland players including Michael Osborne, Daniel Merrett, Nick Riewoldt, Ben Hudson and Kurt Tippett.
This is only the second time the NAB AFL Draft has been held outside Victoria in its history. Twenty-five years ago, in the first national AFL Draft, the Brisbane Lions were in the spotlight as they completed their team list for entry into the AFL. This year, it will be the Gold Coast Suns’ turn to shine and select the final members of their inaugural AFL team.
Registrations are now closed to be at the event, but make sure to check out all the action on Fox Sports 2 at 6pm.
