Listen in here, for our chat with round four rising star nominee Zac Stone from the Mt Gravatt Vultures.
Mt Gravatt youngster Zac Stone has been named the QAFL round four Rising Star after a strong performance against Sandgate.
Stone was dangerous up forward and in the midfield, ending the game with four goals.
The Vultures became more dominant as the game went on and finished as 64-point winners.
“It was good to get a bit of a percentage boost and get some confidence going into next week against Labrador,” said Stone.
The focus for Zac this year is continuing to hone his midfield craft and use his speed to his advantage.
“I’ve played my whole career as a midfielder, so I’ve just been trying to get my hands on the footy more and use my speed to break away from the packs,” said Stone.
Stone played his junior football with the Jindalee Jags and Mt Gravatt, before making his senior debut in 2015.
