Sherwood Magpies AFC Development/Assistant Coach – QFAW Div 1

THE OPPORTUNITY

Following the reappointment of Mitchell Merritt as Senior Coach and Anthony Sacco as Reserves Coach, the Sherwood Football Club is now seeking to appoint Assistant Coaches for the 2023 QFAW Div 1 season.

These are ideal roles for either credentialed coaches or experienced players seeking to transition into coaching / mentoring positions within a highly supportive and positive learning environment.

Full support with obtaining Level 2 AFL coaching accreditation is provided.

We are open to discussion on these coaching roles being either playing or non-playing.

TEAM WITHIN A TEAM

We get it, coaching a football team can seem like a highly daunting prospect however with a supportive coaching team the workload can be shared making the experience sustainable and rewarding!

Coaches requiring some flexibility are encouraged to get in contact as we would like to work as a team to support each other throughout the course of the season. We are empathetic to family / work / life commitments which may mean you need to miss sessions or the odd match. We would prefer great people for some of the time rather than not at all, so let’s have a chat and see what we can make work.
