Wynnum Vikings Senior and Reserves Coach

The Wynnum Vikings AFL Club is dedicated to fostering a vibrant and inclusive football community. We are currently hiring for two key coaching roles: Senior Coach and Reserve Grade Coach. Each role will be crucial in leading our teams through the upcoming seasons, with a focus on strategy, player development, and team management.

Senior Coach:

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategic game plans for the senior team.
Conduct training sessions and oversee player performance.
Manage game day preparations, including team selection and tactical adjustments.
Provide leadership and mentorship to senior players.
Collaborate with club administration and support staff.

Qualifications:

Proven experience coaching senior-level teams.
Deep understanding of AFL tactics and strategies.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Relevant coaching qualifications and certifications preferred.

Reserve Grade Coach:

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategies for the reserve grade team.
Focus on player development and readiness for senior team selection.
Conduct training sessions and manage game day preparations.
Mentor reserve grade players and support their progression.
Work closely with the senior coach and club staff.

Qualifications:

Experience coaching at reserve grade or similar levels.
Strong knowledge of player development and AFL fundamentals.
Excellent leadership and motivational skills.
Relevant coaching qualifications preferred.
