Aspley vs Mayne
Sat 14 June 2pm: Graham Road
Aspley will host the red-hot Tigers this week at Graham Road to kick-off Round 10. The Hornets have struggled in recent weeks, losing their last four games to sit 6th on the ladder with a disappointing 2-7 record. They will have an uphill battle to take down the inform Mayne, who are a perfect 9-0 to start the season and are full of confidence after handing down a 90-point thrashing to Caloundra last week.
Caloundra vs Nambour & Hinterland
Sat 14 June 2pm: North Street Oval
At the halfway point in the season, Caloundra sit in fifth position on the ladder and are three games outside the top four. A home clash this week against a struggling Blues outfit is a must win if the Panthers want to play finals football in 2014. The Blues will have the momentum heading into this week however, coming off a big victory against Caboolture last week. The Panthers on the other hand will need to snap a three-game losing streak to claim the four-points and get back in the winners circle.
Maroochydore vs Kedron
Sat 14 June 2pm: Maroochydore Multisports Complex
Maroochydore and Kedron will be looking to continue their winning ways this week and cement themselves as premiership contenders when they clash on Saturday. The Roos have dropped just two games this season on their way to a 7-2 record, and have strung together four straight victories. Not to be outdone, the Lions, who started the season 1-3, have bounced backed in terrific fashion to win five on the trot, which included last week’s nail-biting 1-point thriller against third placed Noosa. The Roos will go in as slight favourites after defeating the Lions earlier in the season by 58-points.
Noosa vs Caboolture
Sat 14 June 2pm: Weyba Road
Third placed Noosa will look to bounce back after last weeks loss to Kedron when they take on cellar dwellers, Caboolture, at home on Saturday. The Tigers have been brilliant this season, losing just two games to boast a 7-2 record at the halfway point in the competition. Caboolture on the other hand have failed to record a victory in 2014, with nine straight losses to start the season. Noosa will head into the clash nearly unbackable favourites, thrashing the Lions by 96-points the last time they met.

Coorparoo vs Burleigh
Sat 14 June 10am: Griffin Park
Coorparoo will be hoping their home ground success continues when they take on competition heavyweights, Burleigh, this Saturday. The Kings have been underwhelming so far this season, recording just two wins in a disappointing two months of footy. The Bombers on the other hand, have recorded six straight victories to emerge as a genuine premiership contender. The Kings have found some success playing on home turf in 2014, with both their victories coming at Griffin Park, but will need more than a lively home crowd to overcome Burleigh.
Alexandra Hills vs Springwood
Sat 14 June 2pm: Keith Surridge Oval
Fresh off a bye week, Springwood will be looking to continue their premiership charge when they clash with Alexandra Hills on the weekend. The Pumas are a perfect 7-0 in 2014, with their latest victory, a 98-point rout against Robina. The news doesn’t get any better for Alexandra Hills, as they have lost six of their last seven, which included last week’s 25-point loss against Yeronga South Brisbane.
Robina vs Coomera
Sat 14 June 2pm: Scottsdale Drive
The last time Robina and Coomera clashed, the Roos belted the Magpies by 115-points – and that was away from home. Back at Scottsdale Drive, Robina will be looking to notch up their seventh win of the season and pressure competition leaders Springwood and Burleigh. Coomera have had a dismal season so far, claiming just a solitary victory through the first nine rounds. Robina will go into the game heavy favourites after a convincing 39-point win over Coorparoo last week.
Yeronga South Brisbane vs Kenmore
Sat 14 June 2pm: Leyshon Park
This weekend’s clash between Yeronga South Brisbane and Kenmore is crucial to their clubs finals pursuit, with both teams floating around the middle of the ladder. After starting the year 1-4, the Devils have won their last three to sit a respectable fifth on the ladder. Kenmore on the other hand have been trading wins and losses the past month, but still remain fourth on the ladder with a 5-3 record. Despite YSB’s recent form, the Bears will head into the clash with the psychological advantage after convincingly beating the Devils earlier in the season by 47-points.

Beenleigh vs Redcliffe
Sat 14 June 2pm: Dauth Park
Cellar dwellers, Beenleigh, could be in for a world of hurt when they take on premiership contenders, Redcliffe, this Saturday at Dauth Park. Less than 12-months ago, the Buffaloes played in the Division 3 Grand Final, but now face a winless season after starting the year 0-10. The Tigers on the other hand have been roaring in 2014, notching up eight wins to sit second on the ladder. Beenleigh will need a huge home ground performance to pull off a miracle upset, with Redcliffe’s confidence sky high after belting the Buffaloes by 174-points in Round 3.
Logan vs Pine Rivers
Sat 14 June 2pm: Tansey Park
A winless month of footy and a string of poor performances has left Logan with a disappointing 3-6-1 record eleven rounds through the season. The Cobras managed to earn two competition points last week with a hard fought draw against Park Ridge, but haven’t managed to crack a win since Round 6. Pine Rivers have been inconsistent over the last month, but managed a hard fought 6-point victory over third placed University of Queensland last week. The Swans will head into the game favourites, with a 151-point thrashing of Logan in Round 3 a big confidence boost.
Griffith-Moorooka vs Park Ridge
Sat 14 June 2pm: Alexander Park
Griffith-Moorooka will celebrate the life of club legend, Doug Absolom, when they clash with Park Ridge on Saturday. The Roosters have competed against Griffith University and Calamvale in previous years for the Doug Absolom Cup to honour their past president’s passion for local football. The contest is sure to be an arm wrestle, with the side’s first contest of the year decided by just 14-points on Pirates turf. With the cup up for grabs and the sides sitting first and fourth respectively, bragging rights and vital competition points will be on the line.
