Three will be the order of the day in the QWAFL tomorrow, as Yeronga and Zillmere fight for a place in the grand final.
For Yeronga, a win would give them a shot a their third premiership in four years, while fro Zillmere, it would be a third win over the Devils, a side they had never beaten before this year.
It will be a hard fought match, with both sides desperate for the chance to play Coorparoo in next Saturday’s decider.
The Devils survived a hard slog against Wilston Grange last weekend, pushed all afternoon, before clinching a 14-point win.
Zillmere have proven to be the second-best team in the competition though the year and their historic defeats over Yeronga this season have ben testament to that.
They will be hoping to rebound from their first-up finals defeat last weekend, at the hands of the Navy Roos, and will be hungry for the opportunity to avenge that loss in a week’s time.
Zillmere’s Ally Anderson is finding form at the right time of year, the Eagles’ best last week, while they’ll be looking for some of their other big guns to fire after a quiet semi-final.
They’ll be wary of finals veterans, the Devils, who have a number of big-time players in their ranks.
A win to the Eagles would end an incredible run by the Devils, who have featured in the past three women’s league grand finals.
