AFL Grand Finals excitement will take over the Townsville region this Saturday, for AFL Grand Final Day.
Riverway Stadium will host six grand finals; Under 12.5s, Under 14.5s, Under 17s, Townsville Renault Senior Women’s Cup, RMS Senior Men’s Premiership and Reserves.
There will be four different clubs represented across the U12.5 and U14.5 divisions.
AFL Townsville Regional Manager Dan Watts said he was expecting some close games this weekend.
“It has been an exciting year with all grades being very competitive” he said.
“I would like to thank all volunteers, mums & dads, umpires, spectators and players for a fantastic year of footy.”

1.25pm – Townsville Renault Senior Women Tigers v Swans
2.50pm – Townsville Renault Senior Women’s Cup Presentation
3.20pm – RMS Senior Men’s Premiership Tigers v Bulldogs
5.10pm – RMS Senior Men’s Premiership Presentation
5.45pm – Reserves Swans v Bulldogs
7.25pm – Reserves Presentation
Food and Drink: Canteen will be open from 7:30am. Bar will be open from 1:25pm.
