This week we’re heading to Goondiwindi!
It was an action-packed day on Saturday at Goondiwindi AFC, with the club celebrating their Goondiwindi Hawks Family Day.
Auskickers got the action underway, in the final session of the club’s NAB AFLAuskick Program, which saw more than 70 boys and girls participate in over the past 6 weeks.
In the senior ranks, the Goondiwindi faithful were treated to two great games of football, as the Hawks narrowly went down to ladder leaders South Toowoomba in the Women’s match.

It was a 2020 Grand Final rematch in the men’s ranks, with the Hawks claiming a big win over the Bombers to continue their impressive record at home.

The Hawks juniors got a run on centre stage, in front of the large family day crowd, playing their fixture in between the women’s and men’s matches. Roy the Lion was there to cheer them on!
The juniors will now move into their localised Superstars and Footy4Fun program, which is held at Riddles Oval in Goondiwindi on Friday evenings from May 21st.
