Brumbies to showcase their new grounds on March 17
The Beaudesert Brumbies JAFC will hold a club Gala Day on March 17.
The event will run from 10-11am and will coincide with the club’s sign-on day.
Kids will be able to test their footy skills on inflatable fields and participate in skills sessions run by AFL Queensland staff.
Participants will have the opportunity to sign up to a Brumbies team on the day.
In 2012 the Brumbies are also introducing an under 6 team, meaning boys and girls of all ages can find a team.
“The Gala day is a great opportunity for the community of Beaudesert to come together,’ Club development officer Peter Allen said.
“The club will be able to show off the progress of the new ground and kids can learn some skills and hopefully join a Brumbies team.”
The gala day will be held at the Brumbies new grounds at Telamon St, Beaudesert.
A free sausage sizzle will also be provided.
