The 2018 Bond University QWAFL Grand Final is coming to a screen near you.
Once again, the final game of the season in the premier women’s competition will be live streamed free online on both aflq.com.au and on Facebook.
The coverage of the Grand Final between Wilston Grange and Coorparoo will commence just prior to the first bounce at 2:30pm.
The announcement represents the continual commitment by AFL Queensland to provide unmitigated coverage of the QWAFL Grand Final to the public and is a beneficial decision for the promotion and visibility of the league.
AFL Queensland Women’s Competition Manager, Joanna Main, said the live stream allows everyone to watch the biggest game of the season.
“We understand many people cannot make it to Yeronga on Sunday and the decision to live stream gives families and supporters the opportunity to witness the occasion from afar.”
“Over 1500 people tuned in to watch the 2017 Bond University QWAFL Grand Final between Yeronga South Brisbane and Coorparoo and we expect a similar level of success this time around.”
Coverage throughout the match will be aided with play by play commentary from AFL Queensland Football Operations Manager, Barry Gibson, and Brisbane Lions AFL Women’s Assistant Coach, David Lake.
