Burleigh Bombers’ ladies will be helping out a new cause in their third annual Ladies Lunch.
Radio Lollipop will be the primary beneficiary of the lunch, to be held on June 21, which has raised more than $6,000 for breast cancer research over the past two years.
Working with hospitalised children, Radio Lollipop works on the belief of the power of play, aiming to bring some joy to children when they are most in need.
The lunch will also donate funds to prostate cancer research as well as Radio Lollipop.
Guests will have the opportunity to enter raffles and bid on auction items in what is a cornerstone of the Bombers’ calendar.
Comedian, Steve Allison, will entertain the crowd, for part of the lunch, which kicks off at 11:45am.
The day will be topped off by a cracking football match between Burleigh and the Robina Roos, who look set to be fighting it out for second spot on the ladder.
