Cairns have beaten SEQ to take out the State Championship
Cairns have taken out the 2012 Kooga AFL Queensland Women’s State Championships with a second win against South East Queensland at Cazaly’s Stadium in Cairns today.
The Cairn’s team followed on from Friday’s 22 point win, booting 11.11.77 to South East Queensland’s 3.5.23.
Cairns star Staci Trindle-Price was named player of the carnival and a Queensland representative side was chosen to play NSW & ACT in September in the NEAFL Women’s Interstate Challenge.
