Last year’s AFL Cairns umpire of the year Ben Koch will represent Queensland at the Australian Country Championships to be held Wagga from July 19th to 22nd.
It is Koch’s first national umpiring appointment after missing selection two years ago.
The AFL Cairns Umpires Association life member has umpired seven grand finals and officiated at this year’s Country Stockmen v Cairns game at Cazalys Stadium.
