The second carnival day for the AFL Schools of Excellence Jonathan Brown Cup has been changed.
Participating schools will now meet on Friday 8th April at Coomera Magpies AFC.
Sandgate, Narangba Valley, Victoria Point, Park Ridge, Helensvale and Palm Beach Currumbin State High Schools will battle out Round 4 and 5, as well as contest the sudden death semi-finals. Click here for the draw.
After Rounds 1-3 in February, Palm Beach sit undefeated on top of the ladder with Helensvale and Victoria Point close behind on two wins each.
The Jonathan Brown Cup is a 9-a-side introductory-style competition for Year 8 boys from these schools; a stepping stone before stepping into the Brisbane Lions Cup Junior Division later in the term.
The Girls’ division is run at a regional level with all secondary schools able to enter: Year 8&9 (Junior) and Years 10-12 (Senior). For more information contact your regional AFLQ office.
