SUMMARY
The stakes remain extremely high in this contest with the pair meeting twice and Broadbeach taking home the four points on both occasions.
Broadbeach missed the double chance on percentage but come into the contest with six consecutive wins and a mammoth 124-point victory over Labrador in the final round, kicking 19 goals to two after quarter time and Jack Jovanovic kicking a career-best eight goals.
Aspley has won its past four games on the bounce since its Round 16 loss to the Cats with three of those four matches having it kick 100 points or more. Its effort against Surfers Paradise last week in the final term was perfect, 6.0 to nothing in a tremendous effort.
The Hornets remain the only team in the competition to tame the Lions so it does have that going in their favour. However, it has historically struggled against teams in the top six this year with a 2/7 run.
Broadbeach has always found a way to be one of the front-runners for taking the title this year with such an outstanding run of performances and at home, will take some beating.

SUMMARY
This is a major contest on paper with both teams splitting wins across the season, Sherwood technically leading by two points.
Wilston Grange has been dynamic up forward this season with some major wins and heavy scoring; tanking fourth overall in the competition up forward and third in defence. It has scored heavily against teams outside the top six.
Sherwood has been aggressive up forward against the best teams in the competition and while it doesn’t boast the best record against the teams in the six, it has been competitive and forced some high attacking contest. Losing its last five matches against top six teams does hurt.
Sherwood is a big chance here because it’s statistically proven that if the game goes to a shoot-out, it will push every step of the way.
With both teams facing off last week, did we see all cards shown or were there some aces left in the deck? Either way, this will be a very exciting contest to watch.
