AFL Queensland has dropped the fixture for the 2022 QFA Division Three competition.
After clinching the QFA Division Four flag in 2021 with a one-point win over Coorparoo – Collingwood Park have been promoted to the Division Three competition.
Bribie Island will step back and join Division Four.
Under Friday night lights – the competition starts on April 22nd and runs for 16 rounds. Finals begin on August 12thbefore the Grand Final is played on Friday 3rd September.
QFA Division Three Competition Manager, Joanna Main, said she was excited to see what the 2022 season would bring.
“The competition will celebrate all of the statewide themed rounds; starting with ANZAC Round, Sir Doug Nichols in Rounds Five and Six and Pride Round in Round 13,” she said.
“Sherwood convincingly won last year’s Grand Final despite finishing third on the home and away ladder – I’m looking forward to see if they can back up another stellar finals run this season.”
