This weekend Yeronga hosts a swag of the state’s top talents.
It’s a big day of footy at Yeronga on Saturday, with some of Queensland’s top talents taking the field.
Kicking off will be the Under-18s clash between the Queensland Scorpions and TAC Cup side, the Calder Cannons.
The interstate match will be the Scorpions’ first hit out of the season and the first glimpse of many of the country’s top draft prospects all in one place.
The Scorpions match starts at 10:30.
Following that will be the final day of the Under-16 State Academy Championships.
The schedule for those games are as follows:
11.00am Brisbane South East vs Brisbane West
12.30 pm Sunshine Coast vs Kickstart
2.00pm Brisbane North vs Gold Coast North
3.30pm Gold Coast South vs North Queensland
With so many of the state’s talented footballers showing their stuff at the one venue, there’s sure to be plenty to watch on Saturday.
