A lightweight goal-kicking Windsor rover who formed a formidable combination with Ray Drabble through the 1950s. Exceptionally quick, he finished third in the Grogan Medal in 1958 and was a regular Queensland representative from 1953-58, playing more than 10 games for the Maroons. Uncle of Scott McIvor.
