Longstanding partner of AFL Queensland, HART Sport, has extended its support of community football by re-signing as the naming rights sponsor for the QFA Division 1 competition.
National Sales Manager for HART Sport, Andrew Mills, said they were looking forward to another year with AFL Queensland.
“Community sport is critical for HART Sport because grassroots avenues and pathways are really what generates players that end up reaching the top level,” he said.
“We know how valuable our support of the competition is for both clubs and the wider football community.
“One way in which we help the clubs is by providing equipment contra each year for a variety of products.”
Mr Mills said he expected season 2024 to be very competitive.
“I know AFL Queensland are putting in a lot of work to make sure the competition’s the best it can be,” he said.
“I think we had a phenomenal Grand Final last year, and I’m looking forward to bettering that in 2024.”
AFL Queensland Competitions Manager Mitchell Simpson, said the ongoing commitment from HART Sport had contributed to the growth of Queensland football.
“HART Sport has been supplying AFL Queensland since the early 2000’s and has been a preferred equipment supplier for over 15 years,” he said.
“The HART Sport name has become synonymous with AFL Queensland, with this partnership extension taking the company to almost a decade of competition naming rights partnership across Senior South East Queensland Competitions.
“I’d like to thank HART Sport for their continued support, and their contribution to community footy in Queensland.”
The QFA Division 1 HART Sport Cup season kicks off on Saturday April 6 with eight clubs vying for the flag. Full fixture available here.
