Helensvale State High continue to show the way in the Division One Brisbane Lions Cup.
With Round 4 of a 5-Round qualifying period currently under way in the battle for supremacy among the school of excellence schools, Helensvale lead senior and junior points tables which are astonishingly similar.
In the seniors, Helensvale, with a 3-0 win/loss record, lead Sandgate (3-1), Narangba Valley (2-1), Palm Beach-Currumbin (2-1), Park Ridge (0-4) and Victoria Point (0-3).
And in the juniors it’s Helensvale (3-0) from Sandgate (3-1), Narangba (2-1), Palm Beach (2-1), Park Ridge (0-4) and Victoria Point (0-3).
In the senior competition the top two sides on the ladder will meet in the grand final at the Gabba on Wednesday 3 August.
And in the juniors, the top side only will go through to play the winner of the Northern States Cup in the all-Queensland grand final on the same day (3 August).
The winners of that match will then represent Queensland in the overall Northern States Cup in Sydney in September.
