5 things you need to know about the NAB Cup match at Maroochydore
Saturday March 10 will be a great day for sports fans on the Sunshine Coast, with the first AFL Pre-season match between the Brisbane Lions and Carlton to be played at the Maroochydore Multi Sports Complex in front of a sold-out crowd of 5,000 people.
Following are our top 5 pieces of information to help you plan your day.
1. Gates open at 2:00pm, match starts 3.40pm
2. This is the first time an AFL match has been held at the ground so please be patient and plan ahead – there is limited parking available so please car pool or take public transport.
3. Sorry, you can’t bring chairs or marquees into the venue.
4. If you require wheelchair access, have mobility issues or are genuinely unable to stand for long periods of time please speak to staff when you arrive at the ground regarding seating.
