The Kenmore Bears Senior Football Club is seeking expressions of interest for several roles within the Football Department for Season 2025.
We pride ourselves on being a community-based club with a great culture that draws players from all over Brisbane. We are seeking high quality individuals to join our Coaching group and Football department. Coaches who bring a passion for the game and have an ability to relate to and develop our players as people and as footballers. Kenmore is committed to providing a clear pathway for the development of good footballers and better people, in an open, fun, and honest environment that welcomes players of all abilities.
All applicants will require a strong background in player development and demonstrate some experience with mentoring athletes. These roles are as follows:
– Reserve Grade Coach (QFA Div 2)
– Assistant / Line Coaches (QFA Div 2)
– Football Director
– Club Umpire
Kenmore has strong links with Kenmore Juniors football club and the schools in the area. We have recently completed fantastic new change room facilities that will allow our Football program to evolve and grow with an inaugural Women’s team imminent.
The successful applications will be provided with support from the Committee, access to our Sports Trainer’s and Physio’s and established S&C programs.
The successful applicants will be able to assist in the Club’s Football and Coaching strategies, implement a game plan effectively, communicate effectively and have great interpersonal skills to work alongside everyone at the club.
The successful applicants will also have the following:
– Minimum AFL Level 1 accreditation (with a passion to work towards Level 2)
– High level knowledge and experience
– Blue card accreditation
– Good communication skills
We would like to appoint the relevant positions by the end of October to ensure they are involved in the 4-week preseason program before Christmas.
