AFL Queensland is pleased to announce the 2019 Queensland Football Association Division 1 HART Sport Cup fixture.
The fixture includes a host of existing and new matchups throughout the calendar year that commences on March 23.
Among the games scheduled across the Division 1 HART Sport Cup’s opening round is a Saturday night contest between 2018 finalists Noosa and Coorparoo under the lights at Rococo Bistro Oval.
2018 Premiers Maroochydore will commence their title defence on the road against Aspley before the unveiling of the premiership flag at home in Round 2 against Burleigh.
The Roos will have to wait until Round 5 for the Grand Final rematch with Noosa in their traditional ANZAC Showdown.
After clinching the QFA Division 2 Premiership in 2018, the promoted Park Ridge Pirates can test themselves against Mayne at home in their first game in Division 1.
The fixture also includes a NEAFL curtain raiser in Round 4 when Aspley host Mayne in a north-side derby at Voxson Oval.
Springwood will celebrate Sir Doug Nicholls Round in Round 9 at Lowe Oval.
Every round throughout the 2019 QFA Division 1 HART Sport Cup will have at least one game every weekend played on the Sunshine Coast.
The 18-round fixture will conclude with a four-week finals series which concludes with the Grand Final on August 31/September 1 in align with the AFL’s pre-Finals Celebration of Football Weekend.
