Caloundra vs Noosa
Sitting awkwardly at 3rd and 4th places, the outcome of this match is crucial to cementing their positions in the finals. Only one place on the ladder separates them, but the real problem is there is ten points between them. Caloundra had a slow start to the season, but have showed in the last month that they shouldn’t be underestimated. Following a loss to Mayne last week, Caloundra are out for redemption this weekend. Noosa will have some added confidence on the field following their victory over Aspley. The win is certainly up for grabs; the question is who will take it.

Maroochydore vs Mayne
This is sure to be the game of the round with front-runners Mayne and Maroochydore coming head to head. Leading the competition, this will be a huge chance to show who is boss. The Roos come into the clash with rested legs coming off a bye last weekend. Meanwhile, the Tigers come in with yet another convincing win under their belts. Mayne head in as favorites, with an almost unblemished season, but it will be interesting to see if Maroochydore can make them sweat.

Aspley vs Moreton Bay
Last week Aspley had the tough gig of taking on second place Noosa, going down by 100-points. Moreton Bay on the other hand had the slightly easier task, running on against Nambour & Hinterland, securing a 100-point victory. Sitting side by side on the ladder, the teams will be looking to knock the other further down the ladder. This is a fabulous opportunity for the Hornets to register a second win for the season if they can take down the Lions.

QFA South
This weekend sees the competition returning to the Round 4 draw following wet weather cancellations.
Alexandra Hills vs Robina
This clash provides big opportunities for both teams. Sitting only one apart, this could be anyone’s game. Both teams have had tough seasons, coming up against big opposition, and have struggled to take down the big dogs. Alexandra Hills are coming in to the battle with fresh legs while Robina are out for the win after going down to Springwood. With tough matches in both teams’ futures, this will be a big chance to put a win on the scoreboard.

Coorparoo vs Coomera
Coorparoo have had as close to a perfect season as possible. Sitting comfortably at the top of the ladder with their only fault being a draw, it seems unlikely that the winning streak will end this weekend. Following a win over Burleigh last weekend, their momentum appears unstoppable. This will be a tough match for Coomera, but if they can keep the score margin close, they will have something to be proud of.

Springwood vs Coolangatta-Tweed
Coolangatta-Tweed will have their work cut out for them when they take on Springwood. The Pumas have had a successful campaign this season and their consistency puts them equal second on the ladder. This weekend gives them the chance to separate themselves from the Bears and move into a solid second place.

Yeronga South Brisbane vs Burleigh
The Bombers have the opportunity to cause a real upset this weekend if they can take down Yeronga. Sitting at 4th and 5th on the ladder, this is a must win for Yeronga to secure their place coming towards finals. Burleigh need as many points as possible in the coming rounds if they want to dip into the final four and compete at the end of the season.
