Queensland is ready to start it’s 2022 NAB AFLW National Championships campaign.
They’ll meet Vic Metro at Metricon on Tuesday, April 19 before heading to Melbourne to face Vic Country on Friday, April 22. They’ll take on the Allies (NT/Tas/NSW/ACT) back home in Queensland on Saturday, April 30 at Metricon for their third and final game.
The NAB AFLW National Championships is the highest standard of girls representative football as part of the AFL Talent Pathway Program.

Last month, AFL Queensland announced Gold Coast SUNS and AFL Women’s Premiership player Sarah Perkins had switched her attention to inspiring the next crop of AFLW players as an Assistant Coach for the squad.
