Coolangatta faces a big challenge in the QWAFL this weekend, facing a strong Zillmere outfit.
The match will likely be a free-flowing affair on the wide expanses of the Eagles’ home deck at O’Callaghan Park.
Zillmere will be hoping for a big win against the Bluebirds, to keep them on pace with ladder leaders Coorparoo, who have a bye this week, as the season winds down.
Yeronga is also a chance to stay in touch with that top group, currently a game behind second-placed Eagles, and will be hoping to entrench that spot against UQ tomorrow.
UQ are coming off a disappointing loss to Griffith Moorooka and will be hoping to show some improvement at Leyshon Park.
Griffith Moorooka will try and continue their momentum in the QWAFL, after a draw and a win in the past fortnight, taking on Wilston Grange.
A win could take them off the bottom of the ladder and in right in the middle of the finals race.
