This weekend’s QWAFL fixture will see three teams granted a shot at redemption, in three intriguing match ups.
The QWAFL flag favouritism will be up for grabs when Coorparoo meets Zillmere tomorrow, in what could be a grand final preview.
Zillmere took the win in the sides’ previous clash in Round two, in the Navy Roos’ only loss of the season and Coorparoo will be keen for redemption in tomorrow’s match.
That was almost three months ago and both sides will want to show how they’ve developed through the season, since that low-scoring clash in May.
UQ will have an immediate chance to show their improvement tomorrow, taking on Yeronga for the second week in a row.
The Red Lionesses played out a spirited second half last weekend at Leyshon Park, and will be hoping to continue that progression in the clash, at Wests Juniors.
Wilston Grange and Coolangatta played out a thriller in their first clash, in Rd 2, but it was the Gorillas who claimed the upper hand in their season head to head with a comfortable Rd eight win.
Back at Wilston Grange this time around, the two sides will be primed for a competitive match.
