Northern Raiders & Country Kookaburras to play off for the Under 16 Queensland State Development Championship Title
After 2 full rounds of games in the KooGa sponsored Under 16 Queensland State Academy Championships, the 2 undefeated teams Northern Raiders and Country Kookaburras will clash in the Grand Final game to be played at Yeronga tomorrow.
Other winners in round 2 at O’Callaghan Park Zillmere on Saturday were Gold Coast North by 41 points over South Eastern Bushrangers, Western Taipans by 54 points over PNG Binatangs, Northern Raiders too strong for Suncoast Power by 60 points and in the final game Country Kookaburras ran out winners over Gold Coast South by 36 points.
The draw for the final round of games on Monday 7 May at The AFL Queensland Training and Administration Centre at Yeronga is as follows :
Grand Final 11.00 am Northern Raiders v Country Kookaburras
12:30 pm play off 7th South Eastern Bushrangers v PNG Binatangs
2:00 pm play off for 5th Gold Coast North v Western Taipans
3:30 pm play off for 3rd Gold Coast South v Suncoast Power
