Palm Beach Currumbin’s Josh Woolley has been named the round three Syd Guildford nominee, for his performance against Broadbeach on Saturday.
The tall defender and utility, who was runner up in last year’s Grogan Medal, again used his precise kicking to devastating effect on the weekend.
Woolley has been important for Palm Beach in the first three rounds, gathering plenty of the ball and providing a physical presence around the contest.
The 24-year-old Launceston product played on the NEAFL Tasmanian team in 2013 and shapes as a critical part of the Lions’ plans for the remainder of the QAFL season.
