There are still some tickets available to this year’s AFL Grand Final luncheon at the Watermark Hotel & Spa on Thursday 1st October.
Hosted by Sea FM’s Paul Gale, the day features an outstanding guest panel including:
John ‘The Rat’ Platten – One of the AFL’s all time greats. The former Hawk won 4 x Premierships, the 1987 Brownlow Medal and was named in the All Australian Team on 5 occasions.
Brodie Holland – The former Docker and Magpie had a great career, playing over 150 AFL games, including a losing AFL Grand Final for Collingwood.
Aaron Vandenberg – after being drafted from NEAFL Club Ainslie in 2014, Aaron had an outstanding start to his career this year playing 14 games before injury in his debut season averaging 20 disposals a game.
The day will be supporting the Troy Clarke Scholarship Program – an initiative created after the sudden passing of former Brisbane Bears player and AFL Queensland Development Manager Troy Clarke who touched the lives of so many people.
Tickets include lunch, 3 hours of beer, wine and soft drinks, loads of entertainment including a special guest comedian, other athlete appearances plus a gift bag for every guest full of goodies including some samples from Burleigh Brewing Co.
Tickets can be purchased individually, in small groups or in tables of 8 or 10.
