AFL Capricornia will host the 2012 Under 16 Country Championships at Rockhampton Cricket Ground this weekend.
The Cairns Lions, Mackay Crows, Townsville Eagles, WCCA Trust Crusaders and Capricornia Cyclones will battle it out in a round-robin style format over two days.
At the completion of the carnival the Queensland Country Kookaburras team will be named to compete in the U16 State Championships in Brisbane from May 2nd to 7th.
