Queensland Academy and High Performance Coach Adrian Fletcher previews the U18 NAB Academy Series, set to kick off on March 25.
Representing Queensland, the Brisbane Lions and Gold Coast Suns’ academies will be up against the likes of the Tasmania and Northern Territory state teams, as well as academies from both the Sydney Swans and Greater Western Sydney Giants.
Also on the agenda is the likely representation of Queensland talent in the Allies squad for the National Championships.
The Allies squad will be made up of players from Queensland, New South Wales, Tasmania and the Northern Territory and will take on the other states, under the watchful eye of recruiters from all 18 AFL clubs.
