Brisbane/Sunshine Coast Flames started off strongly at the Inaugural Under 18 Youth Girls State Championships tonight at Yeronga AFC.
The Flames blasted a quick five-goal first quarter, with five separate goal scorers and kept Central Coast Cobras scoreless.
The second quarter saw some change in match ups, with the desired result restricting the Flames scoring and securing the first couple of points for the Cobras.
A furious pace continued for the rest of the game with Central Coast kicking their two goals for the game in the final quarter. Final score was Flames 10.12.72 def Cobras 2.2.14.
