Update on the 2021 StreetSmarts AFLQ Schools Cup

School footy is coming back! And we’re as excited as a Year 12 student on Graduation Day about it!

With the Queensland Government lifting the ban on inter-school sport, AFL Queensland has put together a revised fixture for remainder of the 2021 StreetSmarts AFLQ Schools Cup.

All schools who have qualified for the finals series have been consulted and we have worked hard to find the most suitable dates for the competition to continue towards the State Finals in October.

Thank you to all schools for working with us to manage the rescheduling process; we appreciate your understanding of what’s been a challenging situation.

The 2021 StreetSmarts AFLQ Schools Cup is our flagship, state-wide school footy competition and we are extremely proud to see it in it’s biggest and best year yet.

Revised dates:

North Queensland Championships @ Murray Sporting Complex, Townsville

• Primary male and female – Tuesday 31^st August
• Junior and senior female – Wednesday 1^st September
• Junior and senior male – Tuesday 14^th September

Metro North/Wide Bay Regional Finals @ Sandgate AFC

• Primary male and female – Tuesday 7^th September

Metro South/Darling Downs Regional Finals @ Ormeau Bulldogs AFC

• Primary male and female – Wednesday 8^th September

Southeast Queensland Quarter Finals @ Yeronga AFC

• All secondary divisions – Tuesday 7^th September

Southeast Queensland Semi Finals @ Yeronga

• All secondary divisions – Wednesday 6^th October

2021 StreetSmarts AFLQ Schools Cup State Finals @ Maroochydore Multi Sports Complex
