Due to severe weather conditions in South East Queensland:
- Both QAFA Norther Rivers matches postponed. Rescheduling TBA
- QWAFL – all matches declared a washout. Re-scheduled for 30th/31st July
- QFA (South), All seniors and reserves games declared a washout. As there is no upcoming washout round each team will recieve 2 points
- QAFA B (Central) – Coorparoo v Yeronga – Coorparoo oval 1 closed, game moved to oval 2 at 5.30pm
- Colts – Coorparoo v Noosa – Coorparoo oval 1 closed, game moved to oval 2 at 10.30am
- Colts – Burleigh v Caloundra – Cancelled, ground closed by Gold Coast City Council. 2 points given to each team
- QWAFA – All matches declared a washout and recheduled to weekend of 18th/19th June
- All Brisbane Juniors games for today (Saturday) have been cancelled. A decision will be made later today re Sunday matches
Clubs have been contacted in regards to these changes, and Sporting Pulse has been updated to reflect.
Gold Coast City Council have closed the majority of their grounds. They will remain closed for the weekend, as the council won’t update the status until Monday. Gold Coast clubs can make the decision as to whether or not to play, being aware that any damage incurred will be a cost to them.
Competitions that have upcoming ‘Washout Rounds,’ where games can be re-scheduled to, if necessary, are:
· QAFA A – 16th/17th July
· QAFA B (Central) – 1st/2nd/3rd July
· QAFA Sunshine Coast – 25th June
· QWAFL – 30th/31st July
· QWAFA – 18th/19th June
