Lions reserves fullback, Jordon Bourke, withstood the Swans’ forward dominance, showing plenty of grit in the last line of defence.
Jesse O’Brien starred in the midfield, claiming the Andrew Ireland Medal as the best on ground, capping off a super consistent season for the 22 year-old.
Membrey was on fire in the match, with the powerful forward finishing with five goals and seeing plenty of the footy.
Yarran Jaffer-Williams scored the opening major of the final quarter, bringing the margin to three points, before back-to-back
Lions goals to Michael
Close and Sam Michael stretched it out to 15 points.
The Swans reserves kept fighting but couldn’t convert their opportunities throughout the day.
