The Brisbane Lions Community Camp at Springfield/Ipswich was a resounding success translating into strong growth in both Auskick and club football registrations
In 2014, Brisbane South took NAB AFL Auskick to a new level achieving 6,160 participants - surpassing all previous records and the largest number in any Queensland region

BRISBANE SOUTH
Club football continued to grow, showing not only strong retention but also great transition rates from Auskick and school programs - a total of 4,871 registered players, 300 up on 2013
Female football continued to be the ground breaker in the south with the new Ramp program for U8 females hitting a fantastic 50 participants who will transition into club football in 2015
2014 was another strong year in talent with the U16 boys close to taking out the championships (they defeating the eventual winners Gold Coast in the last game). Both the U14 teams performed strongly, despite being split into two teams for the first time. The Brisbane South Vixens finished off the talent calendar in fine form taking out the Youth Girls State Championships
For the first time in Brisbane South, a multicultural team was entered into the Future Stars program
Two successful Indigenous schools programs were run at the Murri School and Hyumba Yumba - the young lads from these two programs participating in the half-time NAB AFL Auskick during Indigenous Round at the Gabba
