• U16 Gold Coast Talent Program - The Gold Coast region went back to having one team in the state championships in 2014, ensuring that a strong squad would be produced. Not only did the Gold Coast win the Championships, an impressive 16 players were included in the U16 Queensland squad. The Gold Coast also hosted the National U16 Championships using great venues such as Metricon Stadium, Southport and Broadbeach.
• Inclusion program - Tim Searl lead a program that grew from doing a few clinics with people with disabilities to forming a Queensland team and participating in the National Inclusion Championships in Melbourne. The program included integrating the participates into training with QAFL club Broadbeach, playing practice games, weekly training, selection combines and then going to Melbourne for the Nationals.
