“In the AFL, you expect them there at 10 o’clock every day but when I’m in this program it’s 5:30pm and some players have exams and uni and it might mean you miss them for one training session.
“You just think sometimes that one might cost them at the end of the season, that’s just how passionate I am about it.”
Fletcher said that his focus was simply getting as much improvement from players, on and off the field, in the limited time he had with them.
“We want to give them access to the best program while we have them.”
