This is a wonde ul oppo unity to reflect on the year and recognise the invaluable contribution of our Volunteers to our great game.
Without their assistance we would not represent our great game in the community the way we do. In all reality, without them we would have
no game at all.
We would like to acknowledge the following volunteers that have received state level awards in recognition of their exceptional contribution to the game in 2015.
AFL QUEENSLAND VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR: ROB PURVES, NOOSA FOOTBALL CLUB.
In 2015 Rob filled the roles
of Football Manager, Senior Assistant Coach, Junior Coaching Coordinator, Special Needs Coach and Auskick Coordinator.
Rob’s commitment to not only senior football, but also juniors, other clubs in the region and the disability program in his local community made him a standout choice for the AFL Queensland Volunteer of the Year.
OUTSTANDING LONG SERVICE TO THE GAME: TINA RYAN.
Tina’s involvement spans 20 years.
A Level 2 Spo s Trainer, she
has worked with club as well as junior and senior Capricornia representative teams. Tina has also been a long serving commi ee member of Rockhampton Panthers.
