UNDER 14 BOYS & GIRLS
This year’s carnival saw Brisbane South East, Brisbane No h, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast No h, Gold Coast South, No h Queensland No hern, No h Queensland Central and Papua New Guinea compete in a round robin tournament.
The inaugural Under 14 Youth Girls State Championships was held in conjunction with the boys’ carnival, featuring teams from Brisbane South, Brisbane No h, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast.
Both championships are the first steps in a junior player’s football development; preparing them
for the next stage in their journey through the AFL Queensland Player Pathway.
The focus of this year’s carnival was fun and development, with no finals being held.
UNDER 16 BOYS
A strong Gold Coast ou it has claimed the 2015 Queensland Under 16 State Academy Championships with a strong win over No h Queensland.
Both teams sailed into the final undefeated but it was the coasters who pulled out all stops in the final to claim the silverware.
