Our new AFL Nines Youth Tournament is open to everyone – whether you play club footy, or haven’t played before and are looking to try Aussie Rules for the first time in a safe and fun environment.
With fun at the forefront, tackling is replaced by one-handed touch. It’s nine-a-side with a maximum of 10 games per season. Schedule flexibility and less demands physically makes AFL Nines ideal for those keen to play team sport without any pressure.

TIME: Approximately 9am – 4pm
COST: $350 per team (9-15 players per team)
ELIGIBILITY: Open to all Clubs, Schools, Community Groups etc
COMPETITIONS:
- U15 Girls – cutoff 1/7/2008 (years 8/9/10)
- U15 Boys – cutoff 1/7/2008 (years 8/9/10)
- U17 Girls – cutoff 1/7/2006 (years 11/12)
- U17 Boys – cutoff 1/7/2006 (years 11/12)
- Note – Age group eligibility as per 2024 Community Football season and minimum age is born 1/1/2011
FORMAT: Pool games followed by final/s – all teams guaranteed at least 4 games
