Yeronga Junior AFC Under 15 Girls Head Coach

The Yeronga Junior Australian Football Club (Yeronga Devils) invites expressions of interest for the head coaching role for its Under 15 girls’ program in 2023.

This is a great opportunity to get involved in our highly successful and enviable youth female program that saw all youth female teams making finals in the 2022 season and including academy and representative players across regional/state and Australian All Star teams.

At the Yeronga Devils, our coaching philosophy is to continually develop all players’ skills, knowledge, and attitudes. We acknowledge that all players are unique, we seek to create a safe and supportive environment for all participants and to develop them to play to the level they aspire.

The successful candidate will be supported by the Club’s Youth Female Football Coordinator, dedicated coaching support roles across the youth female football program, and female-oriented strength and conditioning coaches (qualified exercise physiologists/scientists and sports trainers from Inspire Health Services) along with mentoring from our senior club QAFLW coaching and playing group.

A requirement of a youth football coach is to have a QLD Working with Children Check (blue card) and current Level 1 online coaching accreditation (both can be arranged after the appointment). The Yeronga Devils strongly believe in securing and developing female football coaches and will also assist in level 2 coaching accreditation.

Financial remuneration is available for the successful candidate, commensurate to the role, and the successful candidate’s experience and qualifications.

Please email expressions of interest to Yeronga’s Youth Female Football Coordinator, Necole Wolf at [email protected] or contact Necole on 0413 901 226 for further information.

Applications close on 31 January 2023.
