The U14 State Academy Championships were dominated by coastal sides.
Gold Coast South and the Sunshine Coast both finished on three wins for the carnival, undefeated through four days of competition.
Behind those two frontrunners were three teams who finished with two wins – Gold Coast North, Papua New Guinea and Brisbane South East.
North Queensland North, Moreton Bay and Brisbane South West claimed one win each, while North Queensland and Brisbane North were competitive without winning any matches.
Played mainly at the Moreton Bay Regional Sports Complex, the competition showed off the next generation of young Queensland talent and there was plenty of high quality football on display.
