Sandy Eaton returns to her leadership role this year as Co-Captain, pulling on The Map for the fourth time to represent Tasmania. Sandy is part of the core group of top female players in Tasmania, with her strengths lying in the midfield. Her experience and hard determination on the field means that she automatically seen as a leading player and role model by her team mates.
Debra Bonde adds a new role to her belt this year being promoted to Co-Captain alongside Sandy Eaton. Previously holding the role of Vice-Captain, Debra will lead the team with her on field performance as a key in and under player. Since first pulling on her football boots in 2010 Debra has represented her State 3 times, including a Coaching role with our Under 18s.
After being named in the Under 18 National All Australian Team, Ellyse Gamble will be playing in her 2nd Women’s State Game for Tasmania. She has shown fantastic development in her ruck work and has the ability to push forward and kick goals. Captaining our Under 18 side Ellyse has the qualities of an Elite footballer in the making, and is an exciting player to watch.
