✏ Very successful McGrath Foundation Lightning Premiership at Airlie Beach
✏ AFL Mackay hosted the inaugural NEAFL Anzac Day Mackay Clash
✏ Airlie Beach hosted the North Queensland U16 Championships
✏ Harrup Park Mackay hosted the North Queensland U14 Championships
✏ Nine players were selected in the Country U14 and U16 Kookaburra teams.
✏ Six players from Mackay made state teams
✏ Nine senior players made the North Queensland U25 team.
✏ More than forty players, male and female, made representative teams
