This is a major step forward, as once the plans are developed they are regularly reviewed and are shared with other coaches who may be involved with the player throughout the season.
The AFL clubs, the NEAFL and Community Clubs plus the academies, all play a major part in helping a player make it to the top.
The key objective of the academies is to grow the national talent pool. Already results are showing that this is happening with very pleasing results coming through in the 2014 Draft out of both NSWACT and Queensland.
The AFL will constantly look for improvement in the way talent is identified and developed. 2014 has seen a major review of talent around Australia through the process of

• Analysis
• Make Recommendations
The review has highlighted Queensland is well placed to produce more high level talent in the near future and capitalize on the opportunities in 2015.
