PICK 69 – GEELONG WYLIE BUZZA

Buzza jumped into dra  contention in 2015, a er being retained by the Queensland State Academy as a 19--year-old. A er working hard on his depth perception over summer, Buzza became an imposing figure in the Queensland forward line, marking everything that came his way. A er only playing his first game of football five years ago, it hasn’t taken Buzza long to rise to the top. When away from the Queensland and Brisbane Academies, Buzza was building confidence while playing for Mt Grava  in the QAFL, and Redland in the NEAFL.

PICK 6 – MELBOURNE JOSH WAGNER
G Junior club/s: Sandgate/ Aspley
G Senior club/s: Aspley G 2015 NEAFL player
Wagner is a smooth moving, athletic midfielder with a long le  boot. A er three impressive years at Aspley in the NEAFL, which included one premiership in 2014, Wagner never lost hope of a chance at the big time. His final year in the Queensland State Academy in 2012 was plagued by injuries, meaning he was overlooked, but his form
in the last 12 months couldn’t be ignored. Wagner was a key member of the Aspley NEAFL team that finished runners up in 2015, and also represented the NEAFL in their game against the Tasmanian State League in the middle of 2015.
PICK 8 – GWS GIANTS SAM REID

Zillmere
Reid, who was originally dra ed by the Bulldogs at the end of 2007, was then picked up by GWS as an uncontracted player in 2011. He spent two years playing for the GIANTS, before being delisted at the end of 2013. A er two years in the NEAFL with the UWS GIANTS, working as a development coach, Reid has been reselected by GWS as a rookie for 2016.
PICK 13 – ADELAIDE PAUL HUNTER
G Junior club/s: Warners Bay G Senior club/s: Redland
G 2015 NEAFL player
In 2011, Hunter made the move from Newcastle to Redland, and
his footy hasn’t looked back. The ruckman has elite endurance, stretching his opponents all
over the ground. He landed on recruiter’s radar in 2014, dominating in the ruck for Redland, and backing up his form consistently in 2015.
